A friend invited me to a shoot for a thesis film last week on campus. I took some pictures and also learned a little bit while I was there. After they finished shooting that day the crew gathered to plan for their final shoot the next day. They wanted to shoot a scene with a boy in "void" / complete white space and I knew that the cotton sheets taped to the walls with half of the fake red interior wall showing through presented more problems than a solution. FORTUNATELY we just finished building our cyclorama at CHICON ,aka The Great Wall, a few days before. Long story short, I was at the right place, at the right time and was able to direct them to our beautiful wall. Cheers to them for being the first film production crew to shoot on the wall!
